This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service. It also explains Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Interpretation

The words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions shall apply regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

• Application: The software program provided by the Company, downloaded by You on any electronic device, named “Solar System Simulator”.
• Company: Referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” in this Agreement, refers to WPC.
• Country: Refers to Belgium.
• Device: Any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cellphone, or digital tablet.
• Personal Data: Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Service: Refers to the Application.
• Service Provider: Any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company.
• Usage Data: Data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
• You: The individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf such an individual is accessing or using the Service.

Collecting and Using Your Data

The Application does not ask You to create an account and does not ask for Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. The Application does not request access to Your location.

Usage Data

While using Our Service, We and the third-party services listed below may collect certain usage data automatically, such as:

• Device identifiers: IP address, the Android Advertising ID (AAID) or the iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA, only if You allow tracking), app instance identifiers, or other unique device identifiers.
• App usage: Information about interactions within the app, such as the features used, session duration, and how You interact with advertisements.
• Device information: Device model, operating system and version, language, and mobile network information.
• Diagnostics: Crash reports and performance information, such as the state of the app when a crash occurred.
• Approximate location: Advertising and analytics services may infer Your approximate location (for example country or city) from Your IP address.

Use of Data

We may use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain Our Service: including monitoring the performance, stability and usage of the app to improve its functionality and fix crashes.
• To display advertisements: to show advertisements to You, including through the third-party services detailed below.
• To perform data analysis: to understand how the app is used, optimize the user experience, and improve the app's performance.
• To provide optional online features: such as the Cloud Save Game Sharing Feature described below.
• For compliance: to comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and prevent fraud.

Third-Party Services

Google Firebase

The Application uses the following Google Firebase services:

• Firebase Analytics: collects app usage and device information to help Us understand how the app is used.
• Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash reports and diagnostic information to help Us fix problems.
• Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in): gives Your installation a random anonymous identifier so that the Cloud Save Game Sharing Feature works. It is not linked to Your name, email address or any other account.
• Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage: store the save games, custom textures and votes that You choose to share (see Cloud Save Game Sharing Feature below).

Advertising

The free version of the Application shows advertisements through Google AdMob, which uses the following mediation partners to fill ad requests: AppLovin, ironSource, Liftoff (Vungle), Pangle and Unity Ads. These services may collect device identifiers, approximate location derived from the IP address, and information about the ads You view and click on, in order to show, measure and, where You have consented, personalize ads.

Users who buy Premium (formerly “No Ads”) are not shown advertisements.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store Your payment details. We only receive confirmation of which items You have purchased so that they can be unlocked and restored.

Your Choices: Consent and Personalized Ads

If You are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Application asks for Your consent before personalized advertising is used, through Google's consent message. You can change Your choice at any time from the app's settings.

On iOS, the Application asks for Your permission before it may track You across apps and websites owned by other companies (App Tracking Transparency). If You do not allow it, Your IDFA is not used.

You can also limit personalized ads through Your device settings:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads (delete or reset Your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization).
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.

You can also opt out of personalized ads from third-party ad networks via the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Cloud Save Game Sharing Feature

The Cloud Save Game Sharing Feature allows You to upload Your saved game data (such as custom star systems, planets and textures) to a cloud server so it can be shared with other users. This feature is entirely optional, and You must opt in to use it.

Data Collected for Save Games

When You use this feature, We store and process the following types of data related to Your saved games:

• Save Data: game progress, configurations of custom star systems, planets, and any other content created in the app, together with the title, author name and description You enter for the save.
• Custom Textures: textures and other custom images used in Your saved games. Imported 3D models are not uploaded.
• Metadata: non-personal information such as the date and time of the save, the version of the app, the anonymous identifier described above, the number of downloads, and votes, ratings or flags You give to other users' saved games.

How Your Save Data Is Used

• Stored on Our cloud servers: Your saved data is stored on Our servers (Google Firebase). We reserve the right to delete inactive or unused data, including custom textures and metadata, at Our discretion if it has not been accessed for an extended period or for server management reasons.
• Shared with other users: when You opt in, Your shared saved game data, including custom textures, the title, author name and description You entered, and metadata, becomes publicly visible to other users of the app. Do not enter personal information in these fields.
• Deleted upon request: You can request the deletion of Your shared saves and custom textures at any time by contacting Us or by using the app's built-in tools.

Data Privacy for Cloud Saves

We do not associate Your shared saves with Your real identity, and We do not use them to track or identify individual users. Only the saved game content (for example custom star systems, planets and textures), the text You entered for it, and metadata (for example votes) are visible to others.

User-Generated Content: Custom Textures and Save Games

When using the cloud sharing feature, You may upload and share custom content, such as textures or game configurations, created or imported by You. By uploading or sharing any content, You agree to the following conditions:

No Copyright Infringement: You may not upload or share any textures or other content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted images, designs, trademarks, or materials that You do not have permission to use.

No Inappropriate Content: You may not upload or share any content that is offensive, inappropriate, or violates laws or regulations. This includes content that is:

• Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit;
• Violent or promotes harm to others;
• Discriminatory, hateful, or harassing;
• Otherwise deemed inappropriate by Us at Our discretion.

Responsibility for Uploaded Content: You are solely responsible for any content You upload or share through the cloud sharing feature. We reserve the right to review and remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice.

Flagging Inappropriate Content

Users can flag save games that they believe are inappropriate or violate Our guidelines. When a save game receives a certain number of flags, We will review the flagged content. If We determine that the content violates Our policies, We may remove it from the cloud servers.

Retention and Deletion of Save Data

Save data, including custom textures and votes on other saved games, will be retained on Our cloud servers unless deemed inactive or unused. We reserve the right to delete data, including save games and metadata, that has not been accessed for an extended period or for server management purposes, without prior notice to You.

If You wish to delete Your saved games, custom content, or vote data, You can do so via the app or by contacting Us for assistance.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your saves, settings, imported textures and imported 3D models are stored locally on Your device. They are not sent to Us unless You choose to share a save through the Cloud Save Game Sharing Feature. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and become aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, We will take steps to delete that information.

Retention of Data

We will retain Usage Data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. This includes retaining data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Data collected by the third-party services above is retained according to their own policies.

Transfer of Data

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside Your jurisdiction, including in the United States. By using the Service, You agree to the transfer of Your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

Depending on where You live, You may have the right to access, correct or delete Your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact Us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Security of Your Data

We strive to protect Your data; however, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While We take commercially reasonable steps to protect Your data, We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
